Dr. Elizabeth O. Crawford (Ph.D., Curriculum Leadership) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary, Middle Level, and Literacy Education. She began her career as an English instructor in Elancourt, France, influencing her decision to become an elementary school teacher. She has since taught kindergarten, 5th grade, and high school French. Currently, Dr. Crawford teaches social studies methods (grades K-6) and supervises interns in the field. Her primary research focus is global education in the elementary setting, including contemporary educational policy and effective means to infuse global issues in one’s existing curriculum.
